Thank you for visiting my website, I hope my photographs captivate and inspire you. I’m Miriam Perritt and I have been a professional photographer for the past 6 years.
Work/Studies
In the past I have been a wedding planner/co-ordinator and I have worked in the hospitality industry for more than 14 years. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience in customer relations, helping brides and grooms plan their very special day, planned events, conferences and parties.
I achieved high levels of customer service for which I have won awards; I have also received great feedback with compliment letters and cards. Therefore your experience and your guests’ experience mean the world to me.
I have studied photography in which I was awarded a Diploma of Higher Education.
My Mission
Is to make amazing photographs for you to love and enjoy forever, while making your whole experience with me a relaxed and fluid one.
I believe that your photographs should represent what you want from your day and I will endeavour to make them in the way that you envisage. I give sound and experienced advice while listening to what you want and incorporating your ideas.
Relating to people and providing excellent customer service is extremely important to me. This is something that I strive for when my clients let me be a part of their special day, whatever that may be.
There is nothing I love more than meeting and working with people from all different walks of life, to capture wonderful and special moments, in stunning timeless photographs.
The Beginning
My love of photography started from an early age. When I was a child I always remember my father with his camera and his passion for photography.
He was always talking to me about aperture, lighting and focusing on how to get the best photos. But back then and kids being kids, I was far more interested in playing with my friends.
As an adult, something stuck and I was never fully aware as to how much until a dear friend of mine pointed it out to me. I was debating life the universe and everything, when she mentioned that I really enjoyed taking photographs and I should look in to doing it as a profession. It was like she turned on a light!
So, I bought my first DSLR camera, took a course at college, started my business and my photography degree. The passion for meeting new people and capturing new moments continues…..
